NGO donates medical equipment and consumables to Paediatric Oncology Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital

A non- governmental organisation (NGO), Miracle Encounter Outreach Ministries has donated medical equipment and consumables worth $5000 to the Paediatric Oncology Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH).

The Founder and Leader of Miracle Encounter Outreach Ministries, Rev. Nathaniel Osei who presented the items said as part of their humanitarian services, the donation was meant to show love to the children at the Pediatric Oncology Unit.

According to him, the work of God is not just about preaching the word, but, also showing love to people and they believe these items will help reduce burden on the unit.

The NGO presented items like wheel chairs, syringes, gauze bandage, pulse oximeter, adult diapers, gloves, television set, drinks, breast feeding bags, COVID-19 kits etc.

The ministry has been in a existence for over 15 years when asked for how long has the ministry been in a existence.

He added that they also extend their donation to other countries like South Africa, Pakistan, Ivory Coast, Kenya etc.

Miracle Encounter Outreach Ministries also extended their donation to Motherly Love at Kwabenya in Accra.

Rev. Nathaniel Osei urged people to show love to their neighbors as we are in the Month of Love.

Meanwhile, Dr Catherine Aduku, Pediatric Oncology Unit (Child Health Department), Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in receiving the item expresses her heart felt gratitude to the NGO for their humanitarian service and love shown to the unit.

She said, she knows the patients in the Pediatric Oncology will be happy to have these item as they also call on individuals, NGO, Public Institutions to extend love their to the patients at the Pediatric Oncology Unit at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
