Music videos not relevant in 2025 – BullGod

Renowned artist manager BullGod has shared fresh perspectives on the changing dynamics of music consumption, urging artists to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital age.

Speaking in an interview on Showbiz Review Xtra with DJ Slim, the Bullhaus Entertainment boss advised against spending heavily on traditional music videos, which he believes are losing relevance in today’s music landscape.

“Do not spend time doing music videos in 2025; it doesn’t make sense anymore,” he stated, explaining that audiences are shifting away from consuming traditional video content.

Instead, BullGod pointed out the rising impact of visualisers, animated or stylised representations of music that resonate better with today’s audiences. “Visualisers rather do the magic. We’re in 2025, and if you go into research, even experts in the game will tell you visualisers are more effective.

He also reflected on the dual impact of the internet on the music industry, describing it as both a powerful tool and a challenge for artists. “The internet here is our greatest enemy and our greatest friend. You have to look at it from the angle that would work for you,” he noted.

BullGod urged musicians and producers to embrace innovative strategies that align with changing consumer behaviour and the demands of the digital era. By doing so, they can stay relevant and thrive in an increasingly competitive industry.
