Mahama promises economic revitalisation on Bono Region Tour

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his commitment to revitalising Ghana’s economy during his ongoing #Mahama4Change2024 tour of the Bono Region.

Speaking to community leaders, Mahama stressed that his government would focus on creating job opportunities and spurring economic growth through innovative policies and initiatives.

“Our campaign is about jobs, accountability, and development. We want to create a better future for all Ghanaians,” Mahama emphasised.

His four-day tour will cover all 12 constituencies in the Bono Region, with meetings scheduled with traditional and religious leaders, community members, and a youth forum at Sunyani Technical University.

The tour comes ahead of Mahama’s nomination filing for the 2024 presidential election on Monday, September 9.
