Ghanaian actor Kwame Dzokoto, along with fellow actor Mr. Beautiful, has donated water, drinks, and cash to the family of late actress Mercy Little Smith popularly known as ‘Benyiwa’ on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
In a heartfelt post on X, Dzokoto shared:
“On behalf of President John Mahama, Mr. Beautiful and I donated water, assorted drinks, and cash to the family of ‘Benyiwa’ Mercy Little Smith at their residence on Friday. Sleep well, sis.”

Mercy, widely loved for her role as Benyiwa in the iconic TV series Efiewura, passed away on December 18, 2024. Her death was announced on the show’s official Facebook page, leaving fans and colleagues in mourning.
Kwame Dzokoto, who played her on-screen husband, expressed deep sorrow and fondly recalled her energy and professionalism. “She brought laughter and joy to every scene. Her legacy will never be forgotten,” he said.
The cause of her death remains undisclosed, but her contributions to Ghanaian television have left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
