Kidi celebrates collaboration with Black Sherif on ‘Lomo Lomo,’ debunks stroke rumours

Musician Kidi has expressed his delight in collaborating with Black Sherif on their new song “Lomo Lomo.”

He shared that the energy and vibes from Black Sherif played a significant role in creating the track.

Speaking on LTS on JoyNews with Doreen Avio, Kidi acknowledged Black Sherif’s immense talent and the positive impact he brought to the studio.

“It’s spiritual vibes. Music is all about energy. If you are making music with someone and their energy is right, both of you on the same wavelength, you create what we are hearing. Positive energy, good energy, and I’m glad we could go into the studio because of Blacko,” Kidi remarked.

He credited musician Kojo Blak for contributing to the song’s lyrics, urging Ghanaians to keep an eye out for the rising artist.

Kidi also took the opportunity to debunk rumours about his health, specifically the speculation that he had suffered a stroke. He clarified that while he did face some health issues earlier in 2023, they were not as severe as rumoured.

“There were issues that required me to take a step back, take a break, and fix and deal with them. Few health issues, but it wasn’t what people said it was. It has nothing to do with stroke. I didn’t get a stroke and don’t know why or how it started, but I never had a stroke. If I had a stroke, I wouldn’t be here,” he explained.
