Media personality Kevin Taylor has issued a strong warning to President-elect John Dramani Mahama, urging him to adopt a firm leadership style during his tenure.
Speaking on his show With All Due Respect, Taylor cautioned Mahama against being “too timid” and embracing an “I am a father for all” approach.
He argued that President Nana Akufo-Addo had already set a precedent for assertive governance and advised Mahama to follow suit by ruling decisively.
Taylor emphasised the need for Mahama to enforce laws strictly and take punitive action against individuals who violate the country’s regulations, rather than opting for leniency or counselling as done in the past.
He also expressed his hope that members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who allegedly misused public funds for personal gain would face justice under Mahama’s leadership.
Taylor’s remarks reflect his expectation for the president-elect to lead with firmness and hold accountable those who undermine the country’s laws.
