Ato Forson lauds Minority Caucus Over Achievements In 8th Parliament

The Minority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has lauded the accomplishments of the Minority Caucus during the tenure of the 8th Parliament of Ghana’s 4th Republic.

Speaking at the dissolution of the 8th Parliament on January 6, Dr. Ato Forson expressed pride in the caucus’s efforts to fulfil their mandate amidst significant challenges.

He noted that the minority played a crucial role in holding the executive accountable, particularly in preventing actions that could have adversely affected the country’s economy.

“Mr. Speaker, every chapter of this journey has been marked by its own twists and turns, highs and lows; in the end, the NDC majority caucus delivered and lived up to the expectations of the people,” he stated.

Dr. Ato Forson’s remarks reflected on the critical role the caucus played in advocating for the interests of Ghanaians during a politically and economically turbulent period.
