Asunafo North MP-Elect vows to tackle youth unemployment
MP-elect commits to job creation and skill development for constituents
The Member of Parliament-elect for Asunafo North in the Ahafo Region, Haruna Mohammed, has pledged to prioritise tackling the pressing issue of youth unemployment in the constituency.
In an interview with Adom News in Goaso, Mr. Mohammed described the rising unemployment rate among the youth as alarming and a potential security threat.
He vowed to make addressing this challenge a cornerstone of his tenure.
“My priority is to create opportunities for the youth to secure meaningful employment and lead productive lives,” Mr. Mohammed stated.
The MP-elect also highlighted plans to support educational and vocational training programs, aiming to equip young people with the skills needed for sustainable livelihoods.
“By investing in education and skills training, we can empower the youth to build a brighter future for themselves and contribute to the development of Asunafo North,” he added.
