The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has expressed optimism about his party’s performance in the special voting exercise, forecasting a decisive 65% win in the region.
Ashie Moore made this assertion after visiting multiple polling centres in Greater Accra to monitor the voting process. During his tour, he interacted with voters, security personnel, and party agents, highlighting the peaceful and transparent nature of the exercise.
“For where we stand as NDC Greater Accra, the process is peaceful and transparent,” Ashie Moore remarked. “You can see the numbers coming in, and we pray that this process will be repeated on December 7. I could feel and smell the victory.”
He commended the dedication of party agents, supporters, and executives stationed at polling centres, emphasising their critical role in ensuring the party’s success. Conversations with security personnel further bolstered his confidence, as they reportedly affirmed the NDC’s strong standing in the ongoing exercise.
Ashie Moore’s optimism reflects the party’s broader strategy to secure a commanding lead in Greater Accra, a region pivotal to the overall electoral outcome.
He urged the continuation of the peaceful and orderly process through to the general elections on December 7.
