Apostle Daniel K. Sey calls for reflection and unity

As the end of the year approaches, Apostle Daniel K. Sey, Dansoman Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, has delivered an inspiring Christmas message urging Christians to reflect on the profound love of God and the true essence of the season.

Expressing gratitude for God’s grace and faithfulness throughout the year, Apostle Sey described Christmas as more than a time of festivities.

“This season reminds us of the unfathomable love of God, manifested in the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, whose birth we joyfully celebrate,” he said. “He came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). His birth heralded hope for humanity, and today, as His church, we are carriers of this hope.”

Apostle Sey encouraged believers to focus on the spiritual significance of Christ’s birth while enjoying the traditions of the season.

“As we exchange gifts, share meals, and create beautiful memories with loved ones, let us not forget the ultimate gift—Jesus Christ, our Savior. Let our hearts overflow with thanksgiving for the sacrifice He made in appearing on earth and the new life we have in Him,” he emphasised.

In his message, Apostle Sey announced the annual Christmas Convention, set to run from December 25 to December 29, 2024, across all local assemblies and districts in the Dansoman area.

He called on all officers and members to participate actively, noting that the convention provides an opportunity to celebrate the birth of Christ collectively while strengthening bonds within the church.

“This convention is a time to come together as a family of faith to honour the Lord, share in His word, and reflect on His goodness throughout the year,” he said.

As the church prepares to transition into 2025, Apostle Sey urged members to carry forward the spirit of love, unity, and service that defines their faith. He acknowledged the challenges that may lie ahead but expressed confidence in God’s enduring presence.

“The year ahead may come with its challenges, but we are confident that the same God who brought us this far will remain our strength and shield,” he affirmed. “Let us commit to deepening our relationship with Him, growing in faith, and advancing His kingdom.”

Apostle Sey concluded his message with a call for believers to live lives worthy of their calling as Christians, encouraging them to be beacons of hope and light in their communities.

The heartfelt message from Apostle Sey serves as a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas and an encouragement for believers to embrace the opportunities of the New Year with faith and gratitude.
