An Accra Circuit Court has fined evangelist and former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa a total of GH¢12,000 and ordered her to pay an additional GH¢50,000 in compensation to Pastor Appiah Biblical, popularly known as Osofo Appiah, following a settlement brokered with the Attorney-General’s Department.
The ruling brings to a close a long-running legal dispute arising from the unlawful broadcast of intimate images on Agradaa’s now-defunct Thunder TV station during her period as a self-styled fetish priestess.
Under the terms of the settlement, which was negotiated by the Attorney-General on behalf of the state and subsequently approved by the court, Agradaa pleaded to four counts, each attracting 1,000 penalty units, amounting to the GH¢12,000 fine. The court also imposed an additional 25 penalty units, ordered to run concurrently.

Notably, the court placed no default clause on the sentence. Defence counsel confirmed in open court that all fines and compensation would be paid in full immediately, effectively concluding the matter.
The case dates back three years, when Osofo Appiah filed a complaint accusing Agradaa of broadcasting a video showing him engaged in a sexual act with a married woman.
He maintained that the broadcast subjected him to public ridicule, reputational harm, and emotional distress.
