NPP Women’s Organiser resigns

Naomi Efua Acquah, the Women’s Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region’s Mfantseman seat, has resigned.

Madam Acquah announced in a statement dated June 12, 2024 that she is unable to continue in the role, citing a number of challenges such as personal reasons, discrimination, segregation, intimidation, and insults.

The women’s organiser underlined that she must put her health and safety first because she is feeling the effects of the negative energy.

“I value the chances I’ve had to support and uplift women in our neighbourhood. She remarked, “I am happy of the job we have accomplished together and I will cherish the memories as illustrations of partisan politics.
