Akufo Addo’s convoy engaged in a fatal accident at Bunso Junction

There has been an accident involving a car from President Akufo-Addo’s convoy.

The Eastern Region’s Bunso Junction is where the accident is reported to have happened.

The incident is said to have occurred when a KIA Rhino truck crossed the car.

Three other occupants of the Toyota Land Cruiser suffered varied degrees of injuries, while the driver of the car passed away instantly.

Not in the convoy at the time of the tragedy was President Akufo-Addo, who spent the weekend in Kumasi attending the funeral of former Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah.

Social media videos display the severely damaged Toyota by the side of the road, along with a few security guards in the area.
