Cyber Security Authority, Police Arrest ‘Self-Styled International Marriage Counsellor’ Over Child Abuse Material
The Cyber Security Authority of Ghana, in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service, has arrested a self-styled international marriage counsellor, Rev Dr Ebenezer Conduah, over offences related to child sexual abuse material.
The arrest was disclosed by the minister for communication, digital technology and innovations, Samuel Nartey George, in a Facebook post on Sunday, 8 March 2026.
According to the minister, the suspect was apprehended in the early hours of 6 March as the country prepared to mark its Independence Day celebrations.

“In the early hours of 6th March, as the nation prepared to celebrate our 69th Independence Day, the hard-working team at the Cyber Security Authority Ghana effected the arrest of one Rev. Dr Ebenezer Conduah in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service,” Mr George wrote.
He said the suspect was arrested for offences relating to child sexual abuse material in violation of Sections 62 and 63 of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038).
“The self-styled radio International marriage counsellor was arrested for offences relating to child sexual abuse material in violation of ss. 62 and 63 of Act 1038. The abuse of a 17-year-old minor had gone on for the past four years,” the minister stated.
Mr George further revealed that investigators had uncovered digital evidence linked to the accused.
“The CSA team has uncovered recordings and online postings by the accused on international porn websites,” he said.
He added that the suspect has been arraigned before the court and remanded to allow investigators to complete their work.
“He has been put before the court today and remanded for 3 weeks to allow the team to complete their investigations,” the minister noted.
Mr George commended the cybersecurity authority team for the operation and warned that offenders would be pursued under Ghana’s cyber laws.
“I congratulate our cybersecurity team and reiterate that if you break our cyber laws, we will find you and hold you accountable, no matter who you are. For God and Country,” he wrote.
