Popular Ghanaian content creator and YouTuber Wodemaya has expressed strong displeasure over comments made by some Zambians concerning the attire worn by President John Dramani Mahama during his official visit to Zambia.
President Mahama is currently on a three-day state visit to Zambia, where he is engaging in high-level diplomatic meetings and strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana and Zambia.
However, beyond the official engagements, attention on social media has shifted to the president’s choice of attire.

During the visit, President Mahama was seen wearing a fugu, a traditional Ghanaian smock that is deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of northern Ghana.
The outfit, which is widely regarded as a symbol of identity, pride, and cultural expression, drew mixed reactions online.
While many praised the president for proudly showcasing Ghanaian culture on an international stage, others, particularly some social media users in Zambia, made comments describing the traditional attire as a “blouse”.
The remarks quickly sparked reactions from Ghanaians on social media, who viewed the description as disrespectful and culturally insensitive.
Among those who openly condemned the comments was Wodemaya, who did not hide his frustration and disappointment.
Reacting in a post on Facebook, the content creator described the remarks as offensive and unacceptable, noting how difficult it was for him to respond calmly.
