Living By Kingdom Principles Key To Bearing Fruit- Elder George Amarteyfio
Elder George Amarteyfio, Presiding Elder of the Church of Pentecost–Upper Room Assembly in the Mpoasei District, has urged believers to live according to the principles of the kingdom, emphasising that the gospel is not just a message but a way of life that bears tangible spiritual fruit.
Preaching to the congregation, Elder Amarteyfio likened the kingdom to a tree and its fruit, explaining that one cannot appreciate the benefits of the gospel without embracing its foundational principles.
“You cannot say that you like the fruits but not like the tree. You cannot say that you like a tree but do not appreciate the fruits, because God cannot be pleased with partial obedience,” he said.

He cited 2 Corinthians 3, noting that living in Christ enables believers to enjoy righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Elder Amarteyfio stressed the importance of principled living, reminding congregants of Jesus’ command in 1 Corinthians to continually remember Him through the breaking of bread. This act, he said, is central to maintaining a connection to Christ and embracing the blessings of salvation. “Every form of initiation or spiritual act is meant to keep us aligned with one body, one soul, one baptism. The blood and body of Christ guide us, and if we are in Him, we shall bear much fruit,” he emphasised.
He further encouraged believers to preach the gospel widely and live as examples of kingdom principles, acknowledging that the journey may involve sacrifice and challenges, but reaffirming that God will provide support through the power of the Holy Spirit. “God will not leave us helpless. He will work with us until the kingdom’s purpose is fulfilled.”
