The Complex Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat will serve as the tournament’s centrepiece, hosting both the opening match and the grand final on January 18, 2026. Rabat alone will feature four stadiums, including:

  • Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan
  • Stade El Barid
  • Stade Annexe Olympique

Casablanca will host matches at the iconic Stade Mohamed V, home to African giants Wydad and Raja Casablanca, while the Grand Stade de Tanger, with a capacity of 75,000, stands as the largest venue for the tournament.

Additional matches will be played at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, Complexe Sportif de Fès, and the Grand Stade d’Agadir, ensuring nationwide participation in the AFCON experience.

AFCON 2025 is expected to be a showcase of African football at its highest level, featuring stars from Europe’s top leagues alongside standout talents from Africa’s domestic competitions. The tournament will also highlight the continent’s growing football depth and tactical evolution.

Beyond the pitch, organisers have emphasised security, fan engagement, and cultural celebration, with Morocco confident in its ability to host a seamless and memorable tournament. Fan zones, cultural exhibitions, and community events are expected to complement the football action.

Defending champions and traditional powerhouses will look to assert dominance, while emerging football nations aim to spring surprises, an AFCON hallmark that continues to captivate fans.

As the opening whistle blows, millions across Africa and the diaspora will tune in, united by the rhythm of African football and the dream of continental glory.

AFCON 2025 promises drama, passion, and unforgettable moments, once again proving why it remains one of world football’s most thrilling tournaments.
