Dansoman–Mpoasei was shaken on Thursday night as Pastor Thomas Ayamboyah, Ablekuma FanMilk District Pastor and Evangelism Leader of the Church of Pentecost, Ablekuma Area, delivered a fiery message declaring Jesus Christ as the only source of true life, warning that anyone without Him is living in spiritual death.
Preaching at the ongoing Mpoasei for Christ Crusade dubbed “In Him Is Life” at Point 6 Italy Park, Pastor Yamboyah drew his sermon from John 1:4 and John 3:16, hammering home a simple but striking truth: “In Him is life. Without Him is death.”
“This evening God is calling you. He is looking for a young man or woman to work with. I recommend to you a Man. He never grows old, He never fails, and His name is Jesus. Only He can give you life,” he proclaimed.

He reminded the crowd that material support, achievements or human effort can never deliver true life.
“Pastor Ayamboyah may have money, and that is all I can give you, but I can never give you life. Life exists only in Jesus Christ.”
Pastor Yamboyah emphasised that without Christ, every human being walks in spiritual darkness regardless of their accomplishments.
He declared:
“Some people look good, smell good, and dress well, but spiritually, they are dead. Life begins only when Jesus steps in.”
He contrasted the emptiness of life without Christ with the fullness available to those who accept Him:
- In Him is redemption — without Him is death.
- In Him is reconciliation — without Him is death.
- In Him is hope — without Him is death.
- In Him is peace — without Him is death.
Pastor Yamboyah outlined three guaranteed blessings for anyone who accepts Jesus Christ:
1. Total Forgiveness of Sin
He said sin—defined as anything contrary to God’s word—destroys destinies, but Jesus wipes every sin clean.
“Jesus forgave on the cross. He is forgiving today. He will continue to forgive. Tonight forgiveness is here.”
2. Power Over Death
He explained that believers overcome both physical and spiritual death.
“I may leave this earth someday, but I will not die. Anyone without Christ is already dead. Accept Him and you cross from death to life.”
3. Freedom From Ancestral Curses
According to him, Jesus alone breaks generational patterns.
“If in your family people don’t marry, don’t prosper, don’t progress—tonight say enough is enough. Jesus sets you free from every curse.”
Sharing his personal story, Pastor Yamboyah recounted how he once lived with talismans and amulets, believing they protected him.
But everything changed the night he encountered Jesus at a crusade.
“One elder laid his hand on my forehead. Instantly, all my power left me. I asked, ‘What do I do?’ He said, ‘Accept Jesus.’ Today I stand here as a changed man.”
He urged listeners to surrender fully as he once did.
Closing his sermon, the evangelism leader made a passionate appeal for salvation.
“Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Satan gives death; Jesus gives life. Tonight God wants to rewrite your story, but He won’t force you. Run to Him. He is calling you now.”
He declared the night a divine appointment:
“Today is the day of salvation. Don’t delay. Don’t hesitate. Make a bold move and come. Your life will never be the same.”
