National Security Services Recruitment Begins Today as C-SERP Portal Opens; Public Warned Against Fraudsters
The nationwide recruitment exercise for Ghana’s internal security agencies officially begins today, Monday, November 17, 2025, with the opening of the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) at exactly 12 noon.
According to a public notice, the portal will remain open until Friday, December 19, 2025, allowing prospective applicants a full month to submit applications to join one of the four major security agencies:
- Ghana Police Service
- Ghana Immigration Service
- Ghana National Fire Service
- Ghana Prisons Service

Applicants are required to purchase recruitment vouchers exclusively through:
- USSD Code: 71303#
- Any GCB Bank branch nationwide
The notice stressed that applicants must clearly indicate which agency’s voucher they intend to buy, to avoid misdirected submissions.
The C-SERP system—launched to harmonise and streamline recruitment for the security services—aims to eliminate human interference, improve transparency, and enhance equal opportunity for all qualified Ghanaians.
The ministry emphasised that no middlemen, protocol lists, or special admissions exist, reaffirming the government’s stance on a clean recruitment process.
“There are no middlemen in the recruitment selection process. Be vigilant and do not fall prey to any scheme purporting to offer admission slots at a fee. The C-SERP process is free, fair, and open to all qualified Ghanaians,” the notice warned.
Authorities also cautioned that providing false information or forged documents will result in immediate disqualification and possible criminal prosecution.
Eligible Ghanaians are encouraged to visit https://cserpgh.com, carefully read all guidelines, confirm eligibility requirements, and submit accurate information.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next phase of the nationwide security screening exercise.
