According to the Ministry, the session will serve as a platform for deliberations on strategies, timelines, and logistical arrangements needed to ensure the successful implementation of the initiative.
The Girls-In-ICT Programme, a flagship project of the Ministry, is designed to equip young girls with digital skills, inspire careers in ICT, and bridge the gender digital divide. Over the years, the initiative has trained thousands of girls across multiple regions, providing them with hands-on ICT knowledge and the confidence to actively contribute to Ghana’s digital economy.
By extending the programme to the Upper West Region, the government seeks to expand opportunities for young girls in underserved communities, ensuring inclusivity in the country’s digital transformation agenda.
