“The strategic importance of Ghana’s aviation sector cannot be overstated. With the right leadership, policy alignment, and stakeholder commitment, GACL can become a cornerstone of West Africa’s connectivity and trade facilitation,” Agalga stated.

He commended the resilience and professionalism demonstrated by staff during the challenging post-pandemic recovery period and praised GACL’s return to profitability despite global economic headwinds.

He urged all staff to remain focused and united in delivering long-term value and transforming Ghana into a competitive aviation hub.

Agalga noted that the new Board, under his leadership, will work closely with management to drive infrastructure expansion, promote operational excellence, and strengthen governance across the company.

The event followed a closed-door engagement between the new board and heads of departments, as well as representatives from GACL’s staff unions.

“Our progress has been the result of teamwork, and I look forward to building on this momentum with the guidance and oversight of the new Board,” she said.

She reaffirmed her commitment to aligning the company’s strategic vision with the government’s broader aviation development agenda.
