The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the release of Personal Identification Numbers (PIN codes) for 18,011 qualified nurses and midwives, paving the way for their enrollment in the 2025/2026 national service year.
In an official statement issued on Thursday, April 17, the NSA directed all eligible personnel to visit the National Service Scheme (NSS) website at www.nss.gov.gh to access their PIN codes. Applicants will need their Student ID numbers and dates of birth to log in and complete the process.
The enrolment process officially began on Thursday, April 17, 2025, and will end on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The NSA emphasized the importance of completing registration within the specified period to avoid any last-minute challenges.

The Authority reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 and above who have completed accredited tertiary institutions—including universities and nursing training colleges—are legally mandated to undertake national service.
The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth and efficient enrollment process and urged all prospective national service personnel to act promptly.
For further details, applicants can visit the NSS website or contact designated service centers nationwide.
