MWC25 Barcelona, the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event, attracted 109,000 attendees from 205 countries, marking another milestone in mobile and AI-driven innovation.
The event also featured over 2,900 exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, along with 1,200+ speakers and thought leaders, highlighting groundbreaking advancements in the industry.
Among the key figures, the GSMA Ministerial Programme convened 188 delegations from 148 countries, including 66 ministers and 111 regulatory authority heads, fostering crucial discussions on the future of digital connectivity.

Additionally, 4YFN, the startup platform, welcomed over 1,000 exhibiting startups, 380 speakers, and 900+ investors, managing collective funds of €60 billion.
MWC25 Barcelona also saw strong participation from industry professionals, with 56% of attendees representing sectors beyond the core mobile ecosystem. High-level decision-makers dominated the event, with 21% of attendees at the C-suite level and 50% at the director level or above. Meanwhile, the event also promoted diversity, with 27% of attendees being women.
The global impact of MWC25 was further amplified by over 2,900 journalists and analysts, ensuring widespread media coverage. The event’s keynotes and live sessions attracted nearly 500,000 unique views across the MWC Barcelona website, app, Mobile World Live, and various media partner platforms.
Additionally, Talent Arena, organised by Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCapital) and co-located with MWC25 at Fira Montjuïc, welcomed over 20,000 attendees, consisting of 53% senior professionals and 47% students and young professionals, reinforcing the event’s role in shaping the next generation of tech talent.
John Hoffman, CEO of GSMA Ltd., emphasised the event’s far-reaching influence, stating, “MWC25 Barcelona set the tone for the future of mobile and AI-driven technologies. The discussions and innovations unveiled here will shape the industry in the years ahead.”
MWC25 Barcelona marks the beginning of GSMA’s global event calendar, leading up to MWC25 Shanghai (June 18-20), MWC25 Doha (November 25-26), and MWC26 Barcelona (March 2-5, 2026).
