The Mobile Money Advocacy Group Ghana (MoMAG) has extended its warm congratulations to Hon. Samuel Nartey George on his appointment as Minister for Communication and Digitalisation.
The group expressed its enthusiasm for working closely with him to strengthen and expand Ghana’s mobile money ecosystem.
In a statement issued to Puretvonline.com, MoMAG praised Hon. George’s dedication to digital transformation, particularly his emphasis on proper mobile money re-registration during his vetting process and recent parliamentary engagements.
“We say Ayeekoo to him once again and express our readiness to work collaboratively with him and his ministry to promote the growth and development of Ghana’s mobile money ecosystem,” the statement read.

“As Hon. George begins his tenure, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting his ministry’s efforts to address these challenges and promote a more robust and efficient digital ecosystem,” MoMAG stated.
The advocacy group further expressed its eagerness to engage in constructive dialogue and collaborate on initiatives that will drive innovation, financial inclusion, and technological advancement in Ghana’s communication and digitalisation sector.
MoMAG concluded by once again congratulating Hon. Samuel Nartey George and wishing him success in his new role, expressing confidence in his ability to bring meaningful reforms to the industry.
