Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Ghana’s newly appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs, has expressed gratitude for his nomination and pledged to serve the nation with “patriotism, innovation, and integrity.”
In a statement shared on X, Ablakwa thanked President John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity to serve, vowing to prioritize Ghana’s interests on the global stage.

“My solemn pledge is to diligently assist President Mahama in championing Ghana’s best interest at all times with unquestionable patriotism, innovation, and integrity,” he stated.
He extended appreciation to his family, the people of North Tongu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and Ghanaians for their unwavering support.
Ablakwa’s nomination and subsequent approval have been met with widespread acclaim, with many expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen Ghana’s diplomatic ties and advance its foreign policy agenda.
