“The Ghanaian People Will See the Extent of the Loot’—Ablakwa Promises Accountability

Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has assured Ghanaians that the extent of state asset misappropriation under the previous administration will soon be unveiled.

Speaking to journalists in the Eastern Region, the North Tongu MP stated, “When we present our report, the Ghanaian people will see the tremendous work that has gone on—the extent of the loot and how all of us have worked successfully to ensure the evidence is coordinated for action by our attorney general and other institutions.”

The Operation Recover All Loot team, formed by President John Dramani Mahama, has been tasked with investigating and documenting instances of state capture and the mismanagement of public assets.

The team, which includes Nathan Kofi Boakye, Martin Kpebu, Raymond Archer, and Daniel Domelevo, has reportedly gathered compelling evidence of wrongdoing.

Ablakwa emphasised the importance of withholding details until their findings are formally presented to the president, noting that the evidence gathered will guide subsequent actions by state institutions to recover misappropriated resources and hold those responsible accountable.
