The University of Ghana (UG) has urged all prospective students to check their details on the UG applications portal after the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
The university’s Academic Affairs Directorate is advising applicants to review their full name, date of birth, index number, exam months, and exam years to ensure accuracy.
UG also reminded applicants to consult the 2023/2024 cut-off aggregates for various programs on the university’s admissions website, allowing candidates to make well-informed decisions when choosing their preferred courses.
For those yet to apply, UG has extended the deadline for applications for the 2024/2025 academic year. Applicants can purchase e-vouchers at designated banks or through the USSD code 8879# on all mobile networks.
The university has confirmed that the application portal will close at midnight on Friday, January 3, 2024, and encouraged all interested candidates to complete their applications before the deadline.
