Vice President hails Priscilla’s recovery as a heartwarming holiday blessing
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has described the recovery of Priscilla, a four-year-old cured leper, as his “best Christmas gift.”
Priscilla, who had her leg amputated in Ghana and underwent advanced treatment in Italy, now walks with a prosthetic leg.
Her journey began at the Weija Leprosarium, where she was abandoned at birth and cared for by Father Andrew Campbell.
