Violence erupted in Ejura, Ashanti Region, when a group of enraged youth stormed the local police station, causing widespread destruction.
The agitated crowd managed to overpower law enforcement officers, freeing suspects who were on remand, before vandalising property and eventually setting the police station on fire.
