VIAVI Solutions Inc. has announced the launch of two new all-in-one handheld testers designed to simplify and accelerate last-mile fibre service turn-up and activation at speeds up to 10 Gbps.
The OneExpert Fibre and OneExpert HFC expand VIAVI’s rugged and portable device portfolio, offering telecom and cable operators advanced validation and troubleshooting tools for fibre, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, and DOCSIS™ connections. The devices will debut at SCTE Tech Expo in Washington D.C. from September 29 to October 1, at VIAVI’s booth J1285.
The new OneExpert testers are built to support technicians dealing with complex fibre deployments and next-generation services. According to VIAVI, the devices can verify multi-gig throughput and connection performance in under one minute, significantly reducing learning time and boosting operational efficiency.
