The Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation (MWCapital) is bringing robotics to the forefront at Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC25) with an interactive experience designed to explore how humans and robots will coexist in an increasingly digital world.
The exhibit, developed in collaboration with technology provider Invelon, will allow attendees to interact with a humanoid robot through a ball game and engage with an interactive screen showcasing real-world applications of robotics across key sectors, including healthcare, security, education, and elderly care.
With robotics rapidly transforming industries, MWCapital’s experience will highlight innovations such as:
- Robot-assisted surgery, a sector projected to surpass $14 billion by 2026.
- Assistive robots for elderly care, addressing the needs of a global population where one in six people will be over 60 by 2030.
- AI-driven teaching assistants, enhancing learning in classrooms.
- Autonomous security patrols, strengthening public safety measures.
MWCapital’s “Living in Tech” exhibition at MWC25 aims to provide a glimpse into Society 5.0—a vision where technology enhances human life, sustainability, and economic growth. The showcase will feature five interactive experiences demonstrating how digital advancements are shaping urban environments, tackling climate challenges, and improving everyday services.
