I Don’t Own $3m House In My Constituency- Ablakwa refutes claims

Foreign Affairs Ministry nominee Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has vehemently denied allegations that he owns a $3 million house in his constituency.

Speaking at his vetting before the Appointments Committee on Friday, January 31, Ablakwa refuted the claims, describing them as unfounded and politically motivated.

He stated that the allegations were part of a broader attempt to discredit him and had no basis in reality. According to him, such fabrications were intended to distract from his service to the people and undermine his credibility as a public servant.

“These claims are completely false. They have been fabricated to tarnish my reputation. I have no such property in my constituency or anywhere else,” Ablakwa asserted during the hearing.

He emphasised that his commitment remains to his constituents and the nation, reaffirming that he would not allow baseless accusations to derail his focus. He also assured his supporters that he would take all necessary steps to protect his integrity.

Ablakwa’s remarks followed widespread reports of the alleged property, sparking debates in political circles. However, he maintained that transparency and accountability in public office were paramount and urged the public to disregard misleading information.
