Asante Kotoko has officially announced the signing of exciting winger Philip Amoh from Division One League side New Edubiase United, as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new football season.
The 23-year-old, who has penned a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors, joins after a standout campaign that saw him deliver six goals and 11 assists—firmly establishing himself as one of the division’s most promising talents.
Speaking to the club’s official media, Amoh expressed confidence in his readiness for the Premier League spotlight.
“I’ve earned this move. I know what I bring on the pitch, and I believe I’m ready for this level,” he said.
“This is a big club, and the platform here is massive, but I’m not here just to be part of the squad. I’m here to make an impact.”
The former Pacific Heroes winger, who has made over 80 appearances in the Division One League, is known for his blistering pace, close control, and attacking instinct—particularly from the left wing.
His arrival is expected to inject fresh energy into Kotoko’s attack and give the technical team greater tactical flexibility heading into a crucial season.
