The Member of Parliament for the Akim Oda Constituency, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, is once again making a significant impact on education in his constituency with the organization of the Annual Akim Oda MP’s Mock Examination for Junior High School students.
Now in its fifth consecutive year, the mock examination is part of the MP’s broader commitment to supporting academic excellence and preparing final-year students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), scheduled for May 12 to May 16, 2025.
In a statement issued by Naphtali Kofi Duodu, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Director for the Akim Oda Constituency, the initiative was described as a strategic effort to level the playing field for all JHS 3 students, regardless of whether they attend public or private schools.
“This exercise targets all BECE candidates in both public and private junior high schools within the constituency, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunity,” Duodu stated.
He emphasized that the mock exams are not merely a preparatory tool but a reflection of Hon. Akwasi Acquah’s long-term vision for education as a cornerstone of community development.
