The Deputy Electoral Commissioner, Samuel Tettey, has stressed the need for journalists to verify information, especially election results, before sharing it with the public.
Speaking during a recent media update session, Mr. Tettey urged journalists to prioritise accuracy in their reporting.
“We urge the media to always verify, or cross-check, their information, as well as, importantly, the results they put in the public domain.”
